After School Art Classes Oak Park
We believe in the transformative power of art. Our After School Art Jam is designed to help tweens and teens discover their creative potential, develop confidence, and connect with peers in a supportive and nurturing environment.
We are passionate about offering this program to young artists. With years of experience and a deep commitment to fostering artistic talent, we ensure that every session is filled with engaging activities that inspire creativity and self-expression.
On any given day we’ll explore following:

Students are free to explore and create art daily! Stop by anytime after school 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Haunted Gallery 928
OPENING NIGHT – AN ART GALLERY OF SPOOKY VISIONS
Saturday is opening night but the Haunted Gallery 928 will be open Monday-Friday. This idea was born of creativity, fun and for lovers of Halloween!
The Haunted Art Gallery Experience
After the grand opening, the Haunted Art Gallery will be open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Explore a world shrouded in twilight. Our studio is cloaked in an artificial “daytime darkness,” using special lighting techniques to mimic a nocturnal atmosphere during daylight hours. This continuous dusk will host a series of frightful artworks, from gothic sculptures that whisper secrets of the past to interactive installations that play tricks on your senses.
Educational and Family-Friendly Engagement and Interactivity
The Haunted Art Gallery is not just a visual experience; it’s an interactive adventure with activities scheduled throughout the month (call 312-371-9526 for details on other event dates or just check our event calendar):
- Scary Storytelling: Experience the power of narrative with live storytelling sessions held in the darkest corners of the gallery. Local storytellers will spin tales of horror and suspense that resonate with the unsettling themes of the artworks.
- Horror Makeup Workshops: Transform into a creature of the night with our horror makeup workshops, where professionals teach you how to create realistic, terrifying looks.
- Artist Talks and Q&A Sessions: Dive deeper into the minds of the creators with talks focusing on the fusion of horror and art. Learn about what inspires these artists to explore the macabre and the techniques they use to bring their frightening visions to life.
Studio 928’s Haunted Art Gallery promises an unforgettable experience this Halloween season. It’s more than an exhibition—it’s a celebration of the chilling and unknown, an exploration of art’s power to thrill and terrify. Venture into the darkness of the gallery and discover what lurks in the shadows of art.
The Haunted Art Gallery Experience is free for all the kids and have a cover charge of $10/ adult. The Opening night is on Saturday, October 13th but the gallery stays open Mon-Fri!
