Meet the Owner/Artist
Hi, I’m Cheryl Vargas — artist, educator, and founder of Studio 928.
I love ART and I love sharing it with people my fellow creatives!
And you ARE creative, whether your art supplies are collecting dust or you are a full-time doodler!
I love beginners, hesitant creatives, and people who swear they can’t “draw a straight line. Those are my people, I love surprising them with what they can accomplish!
All you need to do is show up.

The Faux Frank Experience™
Faux Frank™ is a hands-on, Prairie–style faux stained glass art experience inspired by the architectural legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright. Designed and led by Cheryl Vargas, the experience blends art-making with architectural storytelling.
Drawing on her background as a Frank Lloyd Wright interpreter (docent), Cheryl guides participants through the principles of Prairie design—geometry, balance, light, and intentional simplicity.
Participants create a one-of-a-kind Prairie-inspired design on a limited edition 6” × 6” hinged glass keepsake box.

The Haunted Art Gallery Experience
After the grand opening, the Haunted Art Gallery will be open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Explore a world shrouded in twilight. Our studio is cloaked in an artificial “daytime darkness,” using special lighting techniques to mimic a nocturnal atmosphere during daylight hours. This continuous dusk will host a series of frightful artwork.
