We believe in the Power of ART! Nothing connects people faster than their shared love for a song, a poem, a movie or a work of art.

The heart and founder of Studio 928, is Cheryl Vargas. She has created a space that goes far beyond an art studio. Driven by a deep-seated passion for sharing joy, connection, and creativity, Cheryl’s mission is to bring art into people’s lives as a source of peace and fulfillment. She believes that art has the power to connect, heal, and inspire, and she’s committed to ensuring that no talent goes unseen (Call for Artists is ongoing).

For Cheryl, Studio 928 isn’t just a business—it’s a vibrant community where individuals can discover their creative potential and experience the joy of self-expression.

Studio 928 is built on Cheryl’s vision of providing accessible art experiences that foster connection and joy in the Oak Park community and beyond. Whether through interactive events, art classes, or collaborative workshops, Cheryl and her team are dedicated to bringing people together to create, share, and celebrate art.
