The Faces I Know explores the powerful idea that imagination, identity, and technology can foster connection rather than distance.
This exhibit reflects Amber’s unique perspective as a Black artist, envisioning images and stories rarely seen in traditional galleries.
AI generation served as a transformative starting point, granting access to scenes and faces that celebrate Black identity and existence in intimate, familiar moments of beauty.
Guided by her photographic experience and an eye for composition contrast and vibrant color, she refined each portrait to bring these lifelike images fully to life.
Each work captures moments of companionship and identity, inviting viewers not only to see these faces but to feel an authentic connection.The Faces I Know celebrates connection in unexpected places, where the past, the imagined, and the familiar converge.
Join us for the Community Viewing on December 13, 2024, 5pm to 8pm. Artist’s talk at 7pm. Open to the public, no fees.
