5 Things I Learned About Business Survival Thanks to #COVID19

1. Business Survival Depends on Having Multiple Avenues of Income

Its been a Godsend for me to have planned for #painttogokits and #onlinepainting” in my bag of tricks. Collaborate with a friend or associate to figure out new ways to package the same service or to create a new service or product offering.

2. The Creative Mind Never Stops Creating & #Passion Never Dies
Having opened my brick and mortar art studio on March 14, 2020, I was riding an entrepreneurial high of a dream come true and believe it or not it has not died.

3. Quick Pivoting is Essential
Part of the high I get from being an #artrepreneur is being in the creative realm of people, spaces and the vibe of the #artistlife. To achieve that NOW, I’ve had to take on being comfortable in front of the camera, mastering Facebook LIVE and ZOOM and creating products.

4. Connecting with People Outside of #Facebook is Essential!
#ZOOM connected my family allowing us to laugh, adapt and create in one place. That keeps my battery charged.

5. Help Others
It may not be immediately evident how an artist can help in this time of world crisis. But I’m using my artist’s mind to do #freebrainstorming with business owners #workingfromhome who may need an outside perspective to pivot. Drop me a line if you’d like to brainstorm some ideas.
